We are accepting new patients of all ages, but we love our newborns!

While the arrival of a newborn baby is a momentous occasion, it often is accompanied by many questions.  The stress associated with caring for a newborn, the sleepless nights, and the adjustments to a dramatically different daily routine can be overwhelming.  We’re here to help!  Don’t ever hesitate to call with any questions or concerns.

Prenatal Sessions
If you have questions you want addressed in advance of the birth of your child, or you want to meet one of our providers and see the office, please call and we will try to arrange a pre-natal visit to our office.

When Your Baby is Born
If you are delivering at Lowell General Hospital, the nursing staff will notify us when your baby is born.  One of our doctors will care for your baby while in the hospital.  Should your baby need a higher level of care, he or she may require admission to the Special Care Nursery at Lowell General Hospital, in which case care will be coordinated by the staff neonatologist (newborn specialist).  The neonatologist will communicate with us directly at the time of discharge.

If you are delivering at a facility other than Lowell General Hospital, the staff physician will care for your baby prior to discharge.

Please call us after your baby is born so we can arrange timely follow-up (this is a good job to give the fathers!).

Newborn Notes
Click here view our “Newborn Notes” handbook.  This will be provided to you either in the hospital or upon your first visit.
